Materials Testing

Sunstate Roads has commissioned modern materials testing laboratories in the Wide Bay Fraser Coast Region (Hervey Bay), Central Qld Region (Gracemere) and Southern Downs Region (Warwick) The laboratories have been designed and developed from the ground up which has allowed for efficiency and establishment of the most modern comprehensive testing facilities in Queensland.

Sunstate Roads provides a full range of construction testing services to the general construction industry, including Transport and Main Roads, local and regional councils, extractive industry, civil construction companies and sub divisional developments. The range of testing services provided by Sunstate Roads include, Asphalt, Concrete, Soils and Aggregate and the detailed scope can be found on the NATA website.

Sunstate Roads has recently received corporate accreditation for its laboratory operations and maintains NATA accreditation for all tests. Signatory approvals are endorsed by Sunstate Roads company policies and procedures and are approved in accordance with the guidelines established by NATA construction materials testing field application document – Annex 3.5, a requirement for all accredited laboratories.

Sunstate Roads can provide mobile laboratory testing facilities operating as a NATA accredited annex facility. The modern mobile site facilities allows efficient and effective onsite control of construction materials testing required by Civil and Asphalt construction activities, providing an increased level of service to our clients.

Our operations are supported by experienced and capable staff. The technical division of Sunstate Roads is highly trained and skilled  in all nominated areas.
